OUR CATERING HISTORY
The beginnings of Now Serving Catering are rooted in the experiences of its sole proprietor, Paul Link. The Link family enjoys a long established reputation in the Chicago culinary industry dating back to the 1950s with the inception of Link's Catering. Now Serving Catering is an outgrowth of the Link family enterprises and traditions.
As founder of Now Serving, Paul Link brings decades of experience in food service management. Three of those years were spent in as part of the opening management team at Chicago's famous Navy Pier. This was followed by ten years in the hotel industry at downtown Chicago five-star destinations such as the Fairmont and Sheraton City Front hotels.
Now Serving Catering enjoys a widespread reputation for intelligent, considerate and personal treatment of its customers. Attention to detail, creative approaches to menu and event design plus honest, straightforward transactions are its acknowledged trademarks.

We couldn't think of a reason not to do this...and so it begins. We've taken the steps to reinvent our current space and develop a new restaurant that is relaxed, comfortable, serves drinks and good food. We have interesting ideas brewing, not only in the kitchen and behind the bar, but in the decor with old wood beams, unusual antiques and large open windows to let the fresh air in and the good times roll.
We are hoping to have this new venture up and running in 2019, so feel free to check back on our website or stop on in...if the timing is right we might just be able to have a drink together.
